The Milton Keynes Conservatives Federation (MKCF) and the Milton Keynes Conservatives Women’s Organization (MKCWO) held our Christmas party and fundraiser on December 18th, 2022, marking the first large-scale fundraiser in the area in quite some time. Shazna was honoured to organise the event as the secretary of the federation, and was supported by several members of the executive. This event took place at the La Tour Hotel in Milton Keynes overlooking the beautiful Campbell Park.
Initially, only 50 tickets were planned to be sold, but due to high demand, the number of tickets was increased to 72. The event was attended by a range of guests from London and Milton Keynes, including a number of notable politicians. The main speaker for the evening was Dr. Liam Fox MP, who was joined by Greg Smith MP, Ben Everitt MP, and Iain Stewart MP, who came to support the event.
The evening included a three-course meal and was a huge success, with many members joining in the celebration. The event also received several raffle items and auction items, which helped to raise nearly £4500 for the organizations.
The Christmas party and fundraiser was a great success, bringing the community together and raising funds for the important work of the MKCF and MKCWO. We would like to extend their gratitude to all those who attended, supported, and contributed to the event, making it a memorable and meaningful evening.
In conclusion, the MKCF and MKCWO Christmas party and fundraiser was a celebration of the community and a success in terms of both attendance and fundraising and it was certainly an honour to have been able to pull this event off in a grand way.
